Light & shadow on a native built roof. I waited patiently until the sun was positioned to project these beautiful light rays on the roof beams. A short time after the shot, they disappeared.

Glad you like this photo of the "funky patterns", colors, patterns, and lines! This was the product of one of my self-assignments in which I head out in nice light - in this case, late day - and just see what I can find. I love street photography, so a downtown area is often my choice of locations for a "following the light" project. Lisa, thanks for commenting - much appreciated!
